As our kids have gotten older some of our traditions have changed, but others have remained the same. One of the traditions most loved by my children is the opening of one gift per child on Christmas Eve. (more…)

Giving to Others

givingFor I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’” Matthew 25:35-36

I love this passage. It is a constant reminder that we are not put on this earth to consume and be selfish but to give to others whenever we can.  I just have had such a burden to help those who are in need. (more…)

My Favorite Christmas Song
