In our home we have a lot of Christmas traditions. For example the first Christmas decoration to be displayed is our Christmas Nativity, and we tell the story of the birth of Jesus as it is unwrapped and set up. We bake Christmas cookies together and go to Christmas Eve Service just to name a few. (more…)

Not just another pretty face….

Sending sick kids to school…
Wednesday, November 28th, 2012In 16 years of being a parent I have NEVER once sent one of my children to school sick. I respect the rules, parents, teachers, and children they come into contact with to much to expose them to possible sickness. As a school teacher I have found that parents feel that it is perfectly acceptable to send their sick kids to school. (more…)
