Bad week

Tuesday, November 29th, 2011

Its only Tuesday and I am chalking this week up to being a bad week. I am  having one of those weeks where I have a ton to do at work and home and have no motivation to get it done. It has also been one of those weeks where nothing I try to do gets done the way I intend for it to be done. Its just a bad stressful week. I want a do-over. (more…)

There has been only one Christmas – the rest are anniversaries.  ~W.J. Cameron

It’s official…. the Christmas Season has arrived at the Lloyd house. Christmas starts at our house with the displaying of our Nativity set. Lloyd Weekly

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week visiting family in Florida. The week passed by quickly and it seemed like we were packing our bags to head home way to soon.

The only downside to this trip was that David did not have the entire week off so he had to work. He was able to start work early in the day so that he could finish up early in the afternoons. So he did not miss out on all of the fun. He did have an awesome work space. He spent most of his working time on the balcony with a view of the Indian River. (more…)

“Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.” ~Louisa May Alcott

We don’t get to choose where we will be born or what nationally we will be born into. Today I am thankful that I was born in America. I consider myself blessed to have been born in a country in which I have so many freedoms~ especially as a woman. (more…)

Day 20~Reliable Transportation

Sunday, November 20th, 2011

I have always wanted a Mustang. Candy apple red, with a convertible top would be perfect. Of course it needs to be a 60’s model, not one of the new designs that they did in the late 80’s and early 90’s. (more…)
