Thankfulness~ Day 4

Today I am thankful that I am a teacher. I love that I get to do a job that I enjoy. I am so thankful that I do not have to work at a job that I hate and dread going to each day. I love seeing my students after they graduate and hearing about their success in life after high school. It makes my heart sing when a former student tells me how much they appreciate how I taught them, and how they could  tell I really cared about them. (more…)

Work-life

I have had several people ask why I never blog about work. There are several reasons that a major part of my life is left out of my blog 99% of the time.  I would love to blog about work and the trials, struggles and fun that I have as an employee of a high school in a small county. However, recently there have been several cases where teachers have been fired or are under investigation because of things posted on their blogs. In many of the cases I see nothing wrong with what the teacher wrote.   (more…)
