On our recent vacation we found ourselves on a river tour of the Old Belize River and the Mayan Ruins at Altun Ha. During the course of this tour we saw many beautiful and breath taking sites. I was in awe of the spring colors of Belize. Our surroundings looked as if we had stepped into the most beautiful picture one could paint. (more…)

The past 24 days in which I have posted my series entitled “24 Days of Thankfulness” has been a great time of reflection for me. During this time I have focused on the good in my life and have resisted thinking about the negative things in my life. I am going to try to continue to be thankful for something each and everyday. Today I am thankful for adoption. My life would not be what it is today without adoption. The process of adoption changed my life and my family. This process forced me to be patient and to wait on God’s timing. I guess I am a slow learner since I did not fully learn those lessons during our quest to have Caleb and infertility treatments.
