Work Holidays

I was looking forward to having Monday off just to do nothing. Yes, a girl can dream but I knew before the holiday that it would not be a real “day off.”

It’s Official I’m Dating

About a month ago I made the statement, “I am so glad I am not in the dating stage of life anymore.” This statement was made because a few friends were talking about how hard the dating scene is and  that it seems like Mr. Right will never come along. My cousin Lisa was quick to inform me that I am in the dating stage… I have just been dating the same man for 21 years. After thinking about it for a few minutes I had to agree with her.  Dating does not end once the “I do’s” are said.

Working with Style

This is my first time linking up with working with style on Liberating Working Moms. Dressing for work has been a little difficult lately. I have been on a journey to better health and fitness, so most of my clothing is to big. I am not complaining it is a nice problem to have.  I keep telling friends and family that next summer someone needs to call “What Not to Wear” on me so that I can get a new wardrobe before the next school year starts. Working vs. Stay at Home Moms

I am so tired of the Stay-at-Home Mom (SAHMS) verses Working Mom (WMS) fight. The newest study indicates that children of working moms are over-weight.  The study focused on the fact that Working Mom’s multi-task and sometimes don’t have time to cook nutritious meals and rely on fast food.
