I love to see my children laugh and smile. Seeing them do it together is even a greater joy. Getting them to cooperate for pictures together is sometimes hard. However, each and every year I manage to get the perfect shot of the two of them together.

Each year we try decorate the house together, bake cookies and pose in front of the Christmas tree for photos. It is in these simple things that I find happiness. Its not the gifts that make me smile and laugh, it is the time spent together. It is the time spent laughing and working together that bring me the best Christmas memories.

I hope that my children grow to realize that it is the simple things in life that bring the most joy not only at Christmas time but year round.
