Today I am thankful for family time.  I love spending time with my family. I am thankful that I get to spend most every weekend with my husband and kids. (more…)

Fall Break~at the Lake House

We decided to have a low key and relaxing fall break this year. We rented a lake house at Lake Lanier for a few days. We loved the views of the lake from the decks of the house. We enjoyed spending time on the lake tubing and swimming. (more…)

Family Vacation…. Disney

Last week we took a family vacation. This vacation was a splurge for us, because we just recently went on a cruise. We don’t normally do two big vacations in one year. However, with this being the first summer in 4 years that I have not been in school we thought it would be fun. Plus Madilyn is the perfect age for her first trip to Disney World. (more…)

The kids and I enjoyed our winter break by staying home. Unfortunately David had to work so he did not get a lot of time off this week. I thought about taking a trip to Florida to see family, but decided that we needed to just stay home. It has been forever since we have had an extended period of time to just hang out at home. Yahoo Farm, Jasper GA

This past Saturday Night we went to Yahoo Farm. While at the farm we found the perfect pumpkins to make into Jack-O-Lanterns. I will post pictures next weekend after we have carved them. We also went on a haunted hay ride and got lost in the corn maze. It was a fun night and was nice to spend time with the family. The weather was perfect for a night time outting.
