I don’t care how poor a man is; if he has family, he’s rich. ~Dan Wilcox and Thad Mumford, “Identity Crisis,” M*A*S*H
Today I am thankful for family time. I love spending time with my family. I am thankful that I get to spend most every weekend with my husband and kids. Even when we are very busy we try to spend some time together every day, even if that time just consist of having dinner as a family. My kids are growing up way to fast for us not to spend time together.
Since we live so far away from our extended family we don’t get to spend a lot of time with them. However, the time we do get with them is treasured. Going to the beach, playing a friendly game of boggle, or having a meal together means a lot when you only see family a few times a year. I am thankful that my kids have a loving group of aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins.
What are you thankful for today?
