Thankfulness Day 23

Today I am thankful that I am able to practice my religion without the fear of persecution by the government. I am thankful that I can gather with friends and family and worship God without fear of being arrested or killed for my beliefs. I am also thankful that I have access to Christan programming on both the television and the radio.

Good health and good sense are two of lives greatest blessings- Publilus Syrus

Today I am thankful for the continued good health of my family.

Last November, I became ill and stayed sick for 9 months. It took my doctors months to come up with an accurate diagnosis so that I could be treated properly. This illness has caused me to be very thankful for my present good health. (more…)

Today I am thankful for Grandparents. I have many fond memories of the three grandparents I was fortunate enough know. My Great Grandfather Duffy is the person who tried to teach me that it was alright to mix all of the food on your plate together, “because it was going to end up that way anyways.” He never convinced me that it was alright to do this and I still think it is gross. Thankfulness Day 19

Today I am thankful that God has given us the gift of his written word in the form of the Bible. I am thankful that I have access to the Bible in many translations so that I can enrich my study of the word. I am thankful that every time I read my Bible I can hear God speaking to me. (more…)

Today I am thankful for my past, for without the events of my childhood, teen and young adult life I would not be the person I am today.
