The first official day of spring is almost here. Spring is one of my favorite seasons. It is so full of vibrant colors and the temperatures are perfect for me. The signs of spring are all around.
- In Georgia the first sign of spring is the blooming of the yellow daffodil. It seems like overnight these bright flowers have just sprung up from the ground.
- The trees are starting to bud.
- The ugly brown grass is starting to have tiny green grass sprouts.
- The days are a little longer, brighter, and warmer.
- I wake each morning to the sounds of the birds singing.
- The wasp and honey bees have already made an appearance.
- The stores are stocked with pretty spring outfits, hats, and shoes.
- Peeps, chocolate bunnies, and Easter eggs are also stocked.
- People are emerging from their homes and starting to do some spring yard work.
Spring is my favorite season. The only thing I do not like about spring is the pollen.
