Its Time…

NASAThis photo was taken about 9 years ago, when my son was just 9 years old. This was the day we dropped him off for his 1st Space Camp experience. He loved every minute of his experience, well except for those in which I made him pose for pictures. We were fortunate enough to be able to send him to this camp in Huntsville several times. Even before attending Space Camp he always told us he wanted to work for NASA.

Caleb always worked hard in school. He maintained good grades, participated in extracurricular activities and took many Advanced Placement courses.  I have always expected great things from  him. I have always been proud of him. Now he can see the fruits of his hard work.

Fast forward 10 years and he is heading out to work at The Armstrong Flight Research Center (NASA), in California. For 10 weeks this summer, he will be working with some of the top NASA engineers. This will be an experience of a lifetime and a massive boost to his resume. I could not be more proud of him and his accomplishments.

My prayer for him during this time is that it will be an experience of a life time. My prayer is that he will learn more than  he ever imagined or dreamed. My prayer is that he will continue to grow and trust God during this experience.
