Back on schedule

This week the Lloyd Family has gotten back on a normal schedule.  The alarm sounds at 6:30 am and we are all up starting our day. Yesterday, I went back to work for the first time since prior to my surgery. I had a great first day back. I had to keep reminding myself that my in-box did not pile up over night, so it will take time before I see the bottom of the box. David made my day by having a dozen red roses delivered to my office.

Madilyn had fall photos at school yesterday. I am hoping that she cooperated with the photographer. The past several times they have done photos at school she would not sit still long enough for them to take a picture of her. She told me this morning she was going to say cheese and smile. I hope she did, because I would love to have some more nice photos of her.

It was nice to ride to school with Caleb this morning. He  helped to carry in a few things that I needed and hung out in my office until the bell rang to go to class. Maybe he will spend more of his mornings with me in my office.  It was nice to just have him hanging around. He is growing up way too fast. Before I know it he will be heading off to college.

I am sure that David is happy to have the house back to himself after weeks of me being at home cramping his style. However, I know that he will miss all of our lunch dates. It was great to be able to just have nice quiet lunches with him without any kid or work interruptions.

I am already looking forward to next week when we will be on fall break with no schedule to keep.
