Happy 2011 everyone. It seems like just yesterday we were all wishing each other a Happy 2010.
I am not afraid to say that I am glad 2010 is gone. The last two years have been hard on my family. The end of 2009 held for us much loss and confusion. The first 7 months of 2010 was full of pain and illness. So needless to say I am more than happy to say farewell to 2010.
2011 promises to be a good year. Currently the biggest event on our 2011 calendar is our 20 year wedding anniversary. I have the most amazing husband and best friend and am privileged to have had him in my life for the past 20 years. Our years together have been full of times that have included “for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health” but we have always stuck together and cherished and loved each other.
Caleb has been cast and will perform in his first high school play early this year. In June he will get his learners permit and begin driving- YIKES. Madilyn will continue to grow and change with each passing day. We are all looking forward to her becoming 100% potty trained within the next few months. I will graduate from KSU with a Specialist Degree in School Leadership and Technology Implementation. David plans to grow his business into new areas but mainly just survive teaching a student driver.
I don’t know what else 2011 will hold for the Lloyd family but the trials of the past two years have helped to make us a stronger family so we will be able to handle anything that life throws at us.
