Lloyd Weekly

I am loving the fall weather and have enjoyed some beautiful sunrises and fall colors on the way to work this week. The orange in the morning sky has been especially vivid the past several mornings.   The cooler days have helped to create perfect fireplace weather. I have enjoyed sipping hot chocolate in front of the fire place while reading for pleasure on more than one occasion this week.

I am looking forward to spending some time in nature this weekend. I am such a fall person.

Our Week in Review

  • By far, Caleb had the biggest week of all of us. The play he had been working on was finally performed this week. He did a wonderful job as Rupert Smith in “The Trysting Place.” I am proud that he is taking risk and participating in drama. I know it takes a lot of courage to get up on a stage and perform in front of a theatre full of people.
  • Caleb also received an award from Pack 8880 to recognize his service and leadership to the Cub Scouts.
  • David and I enjoyed a date night. We went to see a play at the Historic Downtown Canton Theatre. It was directed by a friend from work. It was a fun much needed night out.
  • I am looking to start a new hobby and have begun to gather supplies and ideas for scrap booking. I have been told that I will get hooked and that once I enter the dark side there will be no turning back. I am thankful that several people have donated start-up supplies and tools. Who knew scrap booking would be such an expensive hobby.
  • Made it back to the gym this week, but missed my goal by one workout. Hope to meet the goal next week.
  • I have also lost another pound bringing my total lost to 57 but the <200 is being slow to display on my bathroom scale.
