Lloyd Weekly

The first week of January has come and gone. I really hope that the rest of 2012 treats us better than this past week has. Getting the family back into routine has been harder this year than it has been in the past.

Week in Review

  • School is back in session so I am back at work and the kids are back in school.
  • David spent the first few days of the New Year sicker than I have ever seen him. That’s saying a lot since we have been married for over 20 years. I am thankful that he is starting to feel better.
  • I started teaching a new class at school. It is really hard to take over for another teacher. Week one went good, now if I can just make it through the remaining seventeen weeks of school.
  • Caleb is once again busy with play practice. He has a small role in an upcoming production of “Elvis People.”
  • I had an appointment with the orthodontist and spent part of the week with a very sore mouth. On Feb. 15 I find out if I can get my braces off soon. Looking forward to the end result and being able to eat popcorn and chew gum again.
  • We have started trying to clean-out and organize the garage. It will be a miracle if we get it done before Christmas. I just want to get rid of the excess stuff that we no longer need.
  • For all of our friends and family who have our Flickr account information we have uploaded all of the pictures from the holidays. If you would like the link to our photo gallery let me know and I will send it to you.
  • We are thinking about what we can do for our upcoming February Break and Spring Break. Debating on just staying home and doing nothing or trying to do a fun family trip.
