Today I am thankful for religious freedoms. I don’t have to worry about being arrested for writing blog post about religion or for going to church. I can walk into a store and purchase a Bible or other Christian literature without fearing for my life. I can teach my children about God without fear of having them removed from my home and reeducated. I am not being beat, stoned, or harassed in any way because of my religious beliefs.
This is a freedom that so many of take for granted. We need to be mindful of how wonderful it is to have freedom of religion and we need to pray that we continue to have the freedoms that we currently enjoy.
