“Never let a computer know you’re in a hurry. ~Author Unknown
Today I am thankful for technology. Living far away from family is easier with the use of technology. We have social media, phones and other ways of keeping in touch. I know that some people don’t like social media, but I do. I like that I am able to stay connected with friends and family no matter where they are. Technology
enables me to upload photos of the kids within just a few minutes of snapping the picture. Family and friends can see the pictures, comment on pictures, and see that my kids really are growing like weeds. I keep friends and family updated on our life with my blog.
Several weeks ago when David was out of town for work we used a video chat platform to keep in touch. Madilyn loved being able to see and hear daddy almost every day. It’s a good thing we had that method of communication since for some unknown reason his phone would not work.
I am able to keep my home life organized with the use of an online calendar. David, Caleb and I can all enter in events so that we all know what is going on with the others. It makes it easy when trying to plan around the schedules of others. When the family tires of the same old meals I can locate many recipes to try within a matter of minutes. My house is less cluttered because I can download books to my iPad and read as much as I like.
Technology is an important part of my life. I use it daily. I am trying to limit use and not over use it, but it has help enrich my life in many ways.
What are you thankful for today?
