Christmas cookies and happy hearts, this is how the holiday starts. – Unknown

Christmas in our house is full of little traditions. These traditions help to make Christmas fun and special in our home.

One of my favorite traditions is baking and decorating Christmas cookies. In our house it is not the Christmas season until we have baked our first batch of frosted sugar cookies. These cookies are so sweet and addictive that they should be outlawed. You can not just eat one or two, they are that good. Christmas cookie baking day is one of the only days of the year that having cookies for lunch is acceptable in our home.

We have such a fun time being in the kitchen creating these yummy treats. This tradition is not just about the cookies. Its also about spending time together as a family.
