Lloyd Weekly

Lloyd_L016(chalkboard)I am so thankful that we have a three day weekend this week. I am sure that we will find some way to enjoy our extra day off this week. Okay, I will be honest the kids and I will find a way to enjoy the extra day off but David will be working.

Madilyn still loves school. I am getting a little concerned because her teacher has been out sick for the past 2 and a half weeks. I have no idea what is wrong with her. I just hope that the substitute is not letting the kids rule the room while the teacher is out sick.

Caleb is becoming very busy with school work. He is also working behind the scenes as stage manager for the fall play. Just because he cannot act in the play due to his foot issue does not mean he cannot still join in on all the fun and hard work.

David has been sick with a sinus issue all week long. He is finally feeling better so hopefully he will be able to enjoy some of our weekend. He is working hard at both his full time contact and the part time contract.

I have had a busy week. I got full force into conducting job site visits for my students. This really is one of my favorite parts of my job. I like being able to get out of building. I like seeing my kids at work and I love hearing all of the wonderful things that the employers have to say about them.

I also had a medical appointment and I am disappointed in the diagnosis. I have arthritis in my left knee. I have to revise my exercise routine and have been advised that for the near future running/jogging are out. I really enjoyed doing that last fall and was hoping to get back at it. At this point all we can do is manage pain. This is not what I wanted to hear. However, in the grand scheme of things at least that is all it is, it could have been worse.
