I don’t advertise it much on this blog but I am a public school teacher and I am proud of that fact. I am so tired of all of the negative news about public schools and public school teachers. I cannot remember the last time I saw a truly positive news article concerning the public school system or the employees of the system. We need to remember that good teachers and schools out number bad teachers and schools. (more…)

This past week we had Fall Break. I love this break. It is a nice reprieve from the busyness of school and work. This year we decided that for the most part we would spend the time at home and check out a few local places that we had never been before.
