The focus of my Bible study this week is the love of God. We all need to take time to reflect on his love for us. It is sometimes difficult for us to understand the love that God has for us. His word is his love letter to us. We just need to take time to focus on and accept his love for us.
Verse: I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now glory be to God ! By his might power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope (Ephesians 3:17-20).
It is often hard to grasp the gravity in which God loves his people. He has no reason to love us he just chooses to do so. I want to be so rooted in him that I never doubt his love for me. I want to be so taken by him that the things of this world do not bother me. I want my life to be a light to others so that they may know of his great love for us. I am thankful to have him in my life to love me like no other can.
