I love baking. I especially love baking Christmas cookies. We always bake the same kind, sugar cookies with confectioner sugar frosting.

Caleb, David, and I have been baking cookies together about 2 weeks prior to Christmas for the past 12 years. This year it was extra fun because Madilyn was old enough to join in on the fun. It was so cute to watch her cut out the shapes, frost the cookies, and apply more than the necessary amount of sprinkles and colored sugar. I think she got more frosting on herself and on the table than she got on the cookies.

Its all the little traditions that we have that make Christmas at our house so special.
