Church isn’t where you meet. Church isn’t a building. Church is what you do. Church is who you are. Church is the human outworking of the person of Jesus Christ. Let’s not go to Church, let’s be the Church. – Bridget Willard
Today I am thankful for my church home. We have been attending Life Bible Church for just over a year. When we decided that we needed to change churches it was hard because I hate change. Even when I know that change is needed and will be good I hate it. I am a person that likes to stay in my comfort zone and change means leaving that zone. I am thankful that I was able to face and embrace change in this area of my life, because it has truly been nothing but good for our family. We have all grown and learned so much during the past year.
One of LBC’s greatest assets is its people who want to be the church. The people at this church don’t just play church, they are the church each and every day. The people who make up LBC are caring and always willing to help others. I enjoy being part of a group that is so loving and caring toward others. I love having a pastor that does not beat around the bush with his sermons. I love that the word is preached each week. I am glad to live life and serve with others who are truly chasing after God’ heart.
What are you thankful for today?
