I can not believe that it has been 22 years and David and I are still standing together and still standing strong. The saying “It just gets better and better” is most definitely true. I was head over heals in love with him way back then and I love him even more today.
I hope that we have many more years together filled with laughter, love, and adventures.
In no particular order here are 22 reasons I love my husband…..
- He has ways of still making me feel like a young school girl in love.
- He is hardworking, not a lazy bone can be found in his body.
- My feelings, thoughts, and opinions matter to him.
- He is smart.
- He is not afraid to show his feelings.
- He is my best friend.
- His faith is unwavering even in times of struggle.
- He has the heart of a giver and is always willing to help others.
- He knows how to make me feel special, loved, and cared for.
- He often sends me flowers for no reason.
- He supports me in my career and other pursuits.
- He is helpful around the house, there are no her jobs and his jobs in our house.
- He loves me even when I’m unlovable.
- He is a Godly man.
- He is sensible, even in times that I am not.
- He loves me even in my crazy moments.
- He is a devoted father to our children.
- He is a great provider and see’s not only to my needs but also my wants.
- He gets me, even when no one else does.
- He is my closest confidant. Don’t tell me anything you don’t want him to know, because I tell him everything.
- He is kind and full of compassion and love, not only for me but to our children and others.
- He is a killer grill master. I am guilty of planning several meals a week that “taste better grilled.”
I feel so blessed to have him as a husband. I wish that every woman could have a man that loves her and treats her like David does me. It is an honor to be his wife and to be loved by him.
He’s a great, great man. I’m lucky to have such a friend. I look up to him more than he will ever know. (but dont tell him, it will just go to his head)
🙂
