17 Years—- REALLY

CwoodsTime has flown and my son is no longer a little boy, he has grown into a handsome young man. I can not believe that my son is turning 17 years old today. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing our long awaited bundle of joy home for the first time.  He has made life interesting and an adventure. This upcoming year is bound to be full of memories as he completes his senior year of high school, and begins to make his college and career decisions. I pray that he will seek God for counsel as he begins this important year of his life.

In my job I see parents that are frustrated because their children don’t perform well in school, have bad attitudes, and in general don’t care about their futures. I feel blessed to be able to be the mom of a smart, responsible child. Sure, he has his moments but overall he is a great kid that I am proud to claim as my son.
