Matthew 25:35-36 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
For the past several years David and I have felt the burden to give to others whenever and however we can. We actually used the above verse on our Christmas cards one year and got some pretty strange looks and comments. I guess people found it strange that we did not use a typical Christmas verse. Christmas is about “GIVING” so we thought it was an awesome verse to use to celebrate the Christmas season.
David and I want to make an impact but realize we cannot do it alone. However, along with others in our community we can help make a difference in the lives of people in our community.
