The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco. ~Mark Twain, attributed
If you know me well you know I am always cold. Today I am very thankful for my space heater that helps to keep me nice and warm. My son calls me a reptile, and cold blooded. I guess I am a bit like a reptile since I prefer sunny and warm spaces as opposed to cold areas.
In my living room you will find several throw blankets most of which are used on a regular basis to help keep me warm. I am that person that you see walking through the mall in summer wearing a sweater. I am just always cold and can never seem to get warm enough.
My office at work is cold everyday of the year but gets especially cold during the fall and winter months. My students laugh and think that it is funny that I use my space heater in August and May. It can be 95 degrees outside, and my office will feel like an icebox, unless I have my trusty space heater blasting warm air. I do have a few students that actually like to come hang out in “the desert” because they like me are cold natured.
I am thankful that I have a space heater to keep me warm at work.
What are you thankful for today?
