Today I am thankful for the education opportunities I have had throughout my life. I believe that I received a good education. I remember many of my teachers fondly.
I appreciate all of the time and effort my teachers put into teaching me the things I needed to know.
I will be forever grateful that I was able to attend college and get a degree that has been very useful in my adult life. College was expensive. I did not have scholarships to pay for my schooling. I took a leap of faith and took out a student loan. Thankfully I have been able to repay my educational loans.
I am thankful that I was able to attend college for a second time in order to get a higher level degree and the pay increase that came along with the degree. I am also thankful that I am part of the educational process for many young adults. I have enjoyed my years of teaching and helping others, be the best that they can be.
I know that many people do not have the educational opportunities that I have had. But I also know that many squander the opportunity away.
