Our Christmas Cross

Christmas is not just about a baby in a manger…. it is also about the cross. Often people only want to focus only on the birth of Christ and not his death. Without both his birth and death there would be no way for us to be saved from our sins. The two events are forever intertwined.

This is one reason that we have made the decision to put a cross made of lights in our yard for the past several years. We celebrate Christmas not only to celebrate the birth of Jesus but to also celebrate his life, death, and resurrection and the reason he came into this world.

Our Christmas Cross is also another way that we help our children remember why we have Christmas.
