Water, Water, Water…

Water is the most neglected nutrient in your diet but one of the most vital~ Kelly Barton

Once I got serious about loosing weight, I made it a point to drink more water. Prior to starting this journey I would drink an average around 12 ounces of water per day. I am now drinking an average of 80 ounces of water everyday. This total accounts for only plain water not tea, coffee, or any other water source.  It took a few weeks to condition my body and bladder to process this amount of water. Now my body actually craves water and I am not often seen without a glass of water in my hands.

Since increasing my water consumption I feel better physically. I have always been told by people that I have a great complexion, but now I get told this almost daily.  My skin is better hydrated and gone are the dry legs and feet I used to have. Water helps to make me feel full so I eat less at meal times. Between meals instead of reaching for a high sugar fattening snack I reach for water first then fresh fruits or vegetables.

Once I started drinking water the weight seemed to melt off. Little changes make a big difference in weight loss and healthy living.
