David and I are headed out for a few days of peace and relaxation. I am very thankful to my sister, Deanna for coming to take care of the kids so that David and I can enjoy a few days away. I love my kids, but David and I need some time to focus just on the two of us. We are going to stay at Lilly Creek Lodge in Dahlonega, GA. Dahlonega is just a short drive from home and is located in the mountains.
We really need this time away. Our last childless trip was in March when we went to London. I really enjoyed the trip but was sick and not myself during that trip as I was still recovering from a surgical procedure. I am now feeling much better and hope to be able to enjoy this trip without feeling tired and worn out like I did while we were in London.
