This past weekend I finished the sitting area in my garden. I wanted to create a quiet place where I could sit and do nothing, study God’s word, or just read for pleasure. I plan to use this area of the garden each morning this summer as I start my day with my devotional study. I have always wanted to have a garden with a sitting area.
Madilyn picked out all of the flowers and helped me plant them. She was super excited to go shopping with me for flowers and chairs. When I was getting the chairs Madilyn insisted that she needed a chair too. So I let her pick out one that is just her size.
I am hoping that we will get to enjoy this peaceful area before the summer heat and humidly becomes too oppressive.
