It took longer than it should have but I have finally finished planting the garden and flowers. I have also got my garden sitting area set up and it is a welcoming oasis. This is our second year with the raised garden beds. (more…)

I will confess I am that parent that keeps her child in daycare even when I am not working. For the past three years we really did not have a choice since I was taking summer classes. However, this year since I am no longer in school we had to make a decision as to how much time if any she would spend at daycare. (more…)

A few days ago during a routine conversation a co-worker was attacked for planning a short trip that did not include her children. The attacker told the other person that it is selfish for parents to take vacations and leave the kids at home. (more…)

It’s David’s Birthday…

Today is David’s birthday. It’s funny as we get older that our birthdays become less and less of a big deal. Even though we no longer make birthdays a big deal I want him to feel special and loved on this special day. Today is his day, and he deserves to have a great day.
